One Great Recipe * Rosemary Sweet Potato Fries with Dipping Sauce

French Fries are one of my favorite foods. Sweet potato fries come in a close second. One of my favorite things to do is to add some fresh rosemary to the sweet potatoes while frying in the oil. The rosemary releases the flavors into the cooking oil and adds a slight hint of rosemary to the fries. You can cut and fry fresh sweet potatoes but I have found frozen sweet potato fries work just great. Maybe even better. We used the Ore-Ida Sweet Potato Fries by Heinz here.

I make a simple dipping sauce to go with the Sweet Potato Fries made of mayonnaise and a hickory smoked bbq sauce. It is very easy to make. Simply add equal parts hickory smoke bbq sauce to a bowl. Add 1 tsp of cracked black pepper. Using a butter knife mix in a criss cross back and forth. Do not over mix. This way you will get a good flavor blend while dipping. Super easy & super delicious.
