Sweet Crafty Creations * Father's Day Ideas

Father's Day is just around the corner, June 21st, and if you're anything like me it's hard to think of something new to get him year after year. A tie might seem like an over done option, but what if it was personalized? What if you made it? There's a great tutorial here from Purl Bee on how to make a tie. You can download and print out the pattern for free and the tutorial is easy to follow. You don't even need a sewing machine! Give it a try and surprise the Father's in your life with a handmade gift.

Father here, weighing in. Handmade tie is a great idea, actually. Just make sure it's not flower print fabric. No guy I know would be caught dead in a tie looking like that.

I agree Logan. Daughters, moms & wives please be sure to think about your "Father" and his style when choosing your fabrics.
