Out and About * Sundance Resort

Have you ever visited Sundance Resort in the summer? It's so beautiful in the fresh mountain air. They have some great things to do from fly fishing, horse back riding, hiking and riding the ski lift to the Sundance Summer Theater, the Bluebird Café Concert Series, the Sundance Art Shack and more.
The kids and I had a great time taking a wheel-thrown pottery class with pottery teacher Tim. The Art Shack also has jewelry making, watercolor or oil painting, printmaking, photography and charcoal and pencil drawing classes.

We stayed in one of the beautiful Mountains Suites complete with a kitchen, master bedroom, a bedroom loft and a scenic deck with a perfect view of the mountains. Every suite comes with recycling bins, a reusable grocery bag and organic toiletries. The kids loved sleeping in the loft  bedroom. In the evening when it's cooler you can cozy up by the fireplace in the living room or the master bedroom. My next house will have a fireplace in the bedroom! Bonus, they also have wi-fi for those of you who need internet access.

The Foundery Grill has amazing food for the whole family. The empanadas were the appetizer of the day. So good. Everyone loved them. I had the fish tacos-YUM!

It's a great place to stay for a family friendly summer vacation. Bonus, if you live in The Valley you save on travel costs and still feel like you are away from home.
